We know that the Halo comics are leading our way towards Halo 5 Guardians in their own capacity, we also know that Halo Nightfall is to serve as a bridge to the story and there also are the incessant undertakings of the developers who keep teasing us with more hints on what the upcoming title is about.
However, it seems like even Halo 2 Anniversary is going to join the gang and drop information on Halo 5.
Executive producer at 343 Industries, Dan Ayoub was talking to GameSpot recently at the EB Expo 2014 where he revealed that even more Halo properties are linked with Halo 5 Guardians than we think:
If you remember the terminals from the first Halo: Anniversary where you could find and unlock motion comic-style pieces that filled in story for what was going to happen in Halo 4, we’re doing a lot of the same in Halo 2 that are going to start to hint at some things that are coming down the line in Halo 5. Our terminals in Halo 2: Anniversary are going to focus on The Arbiter. You’ll start to get an idea of his history and a little more about him.
There is no doubt that The Master Chief Collection is something to look forward to but what we really want to know more about is the new episode in the series. So I am surely game with this.
Not that you wouldn’t know already, but Halo 2 Anniversary is supposed to be released as a part of the Halo Master Chief Collection which rolls out on November 11. Halo 5 Guardians isn’t going to be out before the last quarter of 2015.
