Well, this is good news and bad news at the same time. The good news is that Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN is going to get a playable demo so that the fans can get a touch of what the game is packing. While the bad news is that the offer is going to be limited to only the PlayStation Plus members in Japan.
Those who fall in to that category will be able to play single player with Ky Kiske and Sol Badguy in the tutorial and arcade mode of the game starting from October 15. The demo will last for a fortnight and end on October 29.
Moving on, you will only be provided with a certain level of control over the game’s settings i.e. you will not be able alter the number of rounds, the timing of each round or the difficulty settings. The only setting allowed to you will be ‘beginner.’
Although the game has been confirmed for a release in the North America, the developers didn’t share any plans regarding the demo being brought to the United States.
I guess we will just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope that it comes to be.
Those of you who aren’t acquainted with the Guilty Gear series, Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN is a fighting game and also the fifth installment in the series. It is being developed by Arc System Works Team Red.
As far as the platforms are concerned, the game originally released to Arcades in Japan and was later announced for release on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in Japan on December 4. It was announced last month that Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN will be released in North America in the holiday season this year.
