One of the biggest titles to release this year, FIFA 15 has made its mark yet again as it managed to sell more than 5 Million copies in the period of just one week around the globe.
Hardware sales are also benefiting from this newly released title as PS4 saw 37% increase in sale since the game’s release, while Xbox One sales got increased by 73%. This Xbox One figure includes the sales after the release of console in multiple regions.
PlayStation 4 being the leading platform nowadays contributed to the sales the most, as 2.2 million copies were sold on Sony’s new gen machine.
Following PS4 is PS3 version with 1.25 million copies and third spot is gained by Xbox 360 with 833,336 copies and finally Xbox One contributed with 610,303 copies sold.
Other four platforms (Wii, 3DS, Vita and PC) didn’t do too well compared to the aforementioned devices but still, a lot of copies of the FIFA 15 were purchased their owners.
These are just the results for one week and you can expect this sales figure to rise even more as time goes on.
