Some may feel that the recent entries of Assassin’s Creed have lost their grip on storytelling since the departure of Ezio Auditore.
But with the coming release of Assassin’s Creed Unity, it seems as though Ubisoft is working hard to ensure a compelling story is told and players can emotionally connect with characters from the game.
The latest trailer of Assassin’s Creed: Unity emphasizes on the story of Arno Dorian, the latest edition into the brotherhood of Assassins.
Somewhat similar to Ezio’s story, Dorian’s father was an assassin who died when Dorian was just a child. Growing up he discovers the true identity of his father right after the french revolution started.
According to the trailer Arno Dorian is seeking “redemption” and has joined the brotherhood of assassins.
The footage in question also introduces the future legendary emperor of France and one of the allies of our protagonist, Napoleon. But there is one thing we learned from Assassin’s Creed, it doesn’t take long for friends to turn into foes.
Assassin’s Creed: Unity is a current-gen exclusive title and will be available for PS4,Xbox One and PC starting November 11.
