MGS 5 Ground Zeroes PC Version Coming to Steam on Dec. 18?

Ever since March this year I have been waiting for the MGS 5 Ground Zeroes PC version to come out in the market. However, the developers have kept the noose pretty tight on that one so far.

Except that they might have let the cat out of the bag recently. We have multiple sources reporting that the date of the Steam release has been officially announced.

As expected, it is (allegedly) Hideo Kojima himself who has announced that you will be able to get your hands on the game via Steam on December 18!

In total, the same news has been reported by three different websites, all Russian. The first one goes by the name of GameMag, the second one is Shazoo while the third posted from a Twitter account for BatyaGaming.

Right now, a gaming event is being held in Russia, the Igromir 2014 where the MGS 5 Ground Zeroes PC version was also scheduled to be shown to the public. It is this event that Kojima has allegedly confirmed the release date, according to one website.

That being said, the Steam page of the title has been up since August this year, which is also when the PC version was officially confirmed.

While all this sounds pretty delicious, I think we will still have to wait a little while before actually betting on the December 18 release date i.e. after Kojima Productions have said so themselves.

The PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of the game were released in North America on March 18, Japan and Europe on March 20, United Kingdom on March 21 and Australia on March 27. The only thing left is the MGS 5 Ground Zeroes PC version.
