The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has gotten four new screenshots that show Geralt in snow-covered terrain.
We’re usually seeing the monster hunter deep within swamp infested jungles. It’s a breath of fresh air to see him venture near snow-covered alps and take on fierce wolves and a menacing looking gryphon.
Though I have to say that either he’s a really good shot or else that little crossbow will have little effect when it comes with dealing with the gryphon that is flying down to tear him apart.
The first image focuses on what look like a dialogue scene with a soldier who is holding on to a horse. Details on his character model are impressive, as are the other shots off course. The third in particular shows a lovely wide-span shot of Skellige and it looks beautiful.
Speaking of character models, CD Projekt RED recently released two in-game shots that highlight the high-resolution textures and details that have been carved into them.
The finely detailed characters are testament to the fact that this game will be requiring a lot of juice as far as PC system requirements are concerned.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the last installment in the fantasy trilogy and will be releasing next year in February for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game was originally set for release later this year but was then delayed so that the developers could further polish the game in the extra time.
