The Instant Game Collection for the month of October has been unveiled by Sony for all PlayStation Plus members.
Starting with the PlayStation 3, PS Plus members will be receiving Rocksteady Studios’ first Batman installment, Batman: Arkham Asylum. While consumers would perhaps express disappointment over the offering of a five-year-old title, Arkham Asylum is still a valuable addition to any library, provided you don’t already own it.
Besides the caped crusader, the PS3 will also be getting Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara. For the PlayStation 4, Sony is setting up a special PlayStation Plus bundle for DriveClub that will be free to all subscribers.
The bundle comes with 10 cars and a total of 11 tracks. Besides that PS4 owners will also be getting Dust: An Elysian Tail, a role-playing title that was recently added to the new console’s list of games. Finally, there’s Spelunky, a quirky platformer-esque adventure that’s been received well across the board.
For the PS Vita, you can pick up Pix the Cat as well as the turn-based RPG Rainbow Moon. The PlayStation Store will refresh on October 8. The Instant Game Collection for September will then be removed. Make sure to add those before they are taken away.
