Dean Hall, the creator of DayZ Standalone previously confirmed that his popular title will be making its way to PlayStation 4 and now at EGX, he has revealed that the DayZ is “definitely” going to be a multiplatform game.
In an interview with Eurogamer, Hall stated:
DayZ is definitely going to be a multi-platform title – that’s the firm vision from Bohemia’s standpoint. But we’ll announce what all the other platforms are as we get to that point.
When asked about the PS4 release of DayZ Standalone, Dean Hall said that there is no confirmed release date just yet, but he is looking for an early access kind of program from Sony, so that the game could release there and then it can be improved with continuous feedback from the players.
Hall continued on to say that there is a lot of work that needs to be done before the game is complete, so the retail release is out of question until 2016.
Currently, DayZ Standalone is available to play on Steam Early Access but those of you who don’t like to play the games with issues and bugs should avoid it, until the game has reached its beta stage at least.
Developers are hoping that the beta of the game will begin by the end of this year and full release will happen sometime next year.
