Steam has Reached 100 Million Active Users, PC Gaming is Alive

Valve Corporation’s famous digital distribution platform primarily for PC has achieved another milestone and has gone past 100 million active user accounts. The reveal came alongside the announcement of Steam Discovery Update.

Steam’s active user accounts went up 25% compared to last year. In addition to this announcement, Valve revealed that there are more than 3,700 games available on Steam and are just a click away.

Last year, in the first nine months only 304 games were added to Steam but Valve revealed that they have added more than 1,300 new games this year. It is a pleasant surprise that such a big number of games were made available on Steam over the year.

Valve also launched the Steam Discovery update revamping the homepage and will allow users to connect better with the available library of games. Among other changes, the new homepage will recommend games for you based on your playing habits.

Steam’s popularity is growing day by day, it offers summer sales and discounts on many products and the growth of the platform also indicates towards a growth of PC gamers around the world.
