PlayStation Now
Playstation Now, a game streaming service for PS content on Sony Devices is now available on PS3 in the form of an open beta.

The beta was only available to PS4 users till now. SCEA VP of Platforms Marketing John Koller revealed the news via Playstation Blog.

The good thing about Sony is that they responded to user feedback and adjusted themselves accordingly. They have reduced pricing for select 4 hour rentals after user feedback. Playstation Now pricing varies from title to title.

The Beta featured 100 titles when it started on PS4 and the number of available titles have passed 150. Koller announced the addition of some more games and said they will be available on PS Now soon. Upcoming titles include inFAmous, and the recently released Capcom’s Ultra Street Fighter IV.

The rental process is easy and similar to buying titles from Playstation store. You can think of this cloud based game streaming service as Netflix for games. The open Beta is now available in North America for PS3 and according to Sony, you should have an internet speed of 5MB/s or above for a decent experience.

If you don’t own a PS3 or PS4 then you can still use this service on 2014 Models of Bravia TVs. All you need is a PS3 controller and you’re good to go.
