Final Fantasy XIV 2.38 Patch Notes Revealed – Personal Housing, PvP Adjustments and More

By   /   Sep 16, 2014

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn patch 2.38 will be featuring PvP adjustments in addition to personal housing. The anticipated feature of 2.38, personal housing was expected to have unique wards or instances for individual housing but that’s not the case.

According to the patch notes, the new update will only allow individual players to purchase their own plot of land in the housing districts of Free Company homes (Disappointed?).
Furthermore, the prices of the plots will somewhat be same to that of a full Free Company House.

On the release of personal housing only two new wards are available which is a very small number and means that numerous players might not be able to purchase land. As a compensation (sort of), game producer and director Yoshida apologized to fans:

“ we were only able to introduce two new wards at the release of personal housing. We know that this is a very small number of additional wards, and are aware that this means that a large number of players will be unable to purchase land. Please accept our sincerest apologies for being unable to add a large number of new housing plots.”

Furthermore, Conjurer’s Cleric Stance ability can no longer be used in PvP mode. You can read about all the changes and additions with the patch 2.38, here.
