Dying Light Gets Official Release Date
Dying Light has been confirmed for a release on January 27, 2015 in North America and January 30 in Europe for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
Techland announced the date earlier today through the game’s official Twitter account. However, since then the developer has been keeping quiet and has not released any more details and other information about the game.
The confirmation on the release dates though shatter previous rumors that the game was being delayed to February 2015.
The action-adventure survival horror game is set in an open world plagued by the undead. Players must defend against the growing menace by salvaging supplies and weapons, and also gathering materials for crafting purposes.
The game focuses on free-run and close-quarter combat, with the latter offering numerous ways to beat zombies to a pulp using more than 100 weapons that can be found or crafted.
Just keep in mind to find a safe heaven when the sun goes down because during the night cycle, the infected become quicker and more dangerous. They also grow in numbers and can easily overwhelm players in a matter of seconds.
Pre-orders are currently open and doing so will net you the ‘Be the Zombie’ multiplayer mode which is pretty self-explanatory.
