Diablo 3 Patch 2.1 Releasing Today, “Seasons” Delayed Until Friday

Finally, the wait is over for Diablo 3 players as Blizzard is going to release the highly anticipated 2.1 patch update today. This update is going to bring some new features and changes to the game meant to improve the overall gameplay experience.

The feature people were most excited about with this update is called Seasons, but in a recent update, Blizzard has revealed that it has suffered a short delay and will be available to play on Friday. However, other features will be available today with the update.

Another exciting feature coming to the game is called Greater Rifts which are special type of Nephalem Rift levels and these will be available in infinite numbers with difficulty increasing with every new level.

Furthermore, Leaderboards will be added to the game so that you can keep track of how other players are doing in the newly added Seasons and Greater Rifts.

Finally, a feature called Cesspools is added to the game, which developers describe as:

In patch 2.1.0 and moving forward, players will now have a chance to spawn a new level environment while in a Nephalem Rift or Greater Rift: The Cesspools.

Surprisingly, All of these new features and changes coming with this update will only take 300 MB of your hard disk space.
