Euro Nintendo eShop Gets Golf, Mega Man And Mercedes

This week’s Nintendo eShop update in Europe returns to business as usual, as the next big hitters are still at least a month away. Still, you can get your hands on some classic content on both platforms.

We mentioned the Wii U release of SteamWorld Dig already. After getting onto 3DS and finding success there, this mining platform title now gets a big screen version for €8.99.

On the Virtual Console, you can find Mario Golf Advance Tour for €6.99. This sports title features arcade golf techniques with a few Nintendo characters, as well as a roster of humans.

Also this week, you’ll be able to grab the questionable sponsored release of Mercedes-Benz × Mario Kart 8. This downloadable content (DLC) lets the cast of racers drive a Mercedes-Benz GLA, the 300 SL Roadster from the 1950s or the Silver Arrow of the 1930s. At least it’s free.

Lastly, the Wii U racks up several new Zen Pinball 2 tables. Themes include The Walking Dead from Telltale, Doctor Strange, Deadpool and the Guardians of the Galaxy movie tie-in.

Tables can be downloaded as a free trial. To unlock any cabinet, you’ll need to put down €2.99 for each.

Probably the most important Nintendo 3DS release this week is Mega Man 5, for €3.99. This continues the company’s quest to bring all iterations from the classic series to the eShop.

Publisher Treva Entertainment continues to bring casual titles to digital outlets with the addition of Outback Pet Rescue for €29.99. Nurse animals back to health in Australia; that’s the gist of it.
