Few Wii U fans have started a movement to show the developers that they are interested in mature games by making Bayonetta 2 sell 1 Million copies on Wii U.

The fans of Wii U have started a movement to show the developers that they do like mature titles for their console after Ubisoft and Infinity Ward decided not to release the titles for the Nintendo’s console due to lack of interest from the fans.

This movement is being trended as #OperationPlatinum and it has been getting a lot of attention on twitter and the ultimate goal of this movement is to help Bayonetta 2 sell more than 1 million copies on Wii U console.

This is a great movement in my opinion because third party games are major part of any console’s life and if they abandon the console altogether, then you can be sure that the console will have a very difficult life ahead as it will mostly be relying on first party titles.

The future of the console is now in gamers’ hands and if they are not interested in mature titles like the statistical figures suggested, then there is no point in creating new games for it as the developers will just be wasting their time and money.

So, if you are among the Wii U fans who like to play mature titles then now is your chance to participate in the movement and help Bayonetta 2 to sell more than one million copies.

Bayonetta 2 is going to release in Japan on 20th of September, while the rest of the world will get it in October.
