Diablo 3 development team comprising of Wyatt Cheng, John Yang, and Don Vu sat with community representative Brandy ‘Nevalistis’ Camel for the first Diablo 3 Tavern Talk, covering a number of topics followed by questions taken from the community.
One important thing to keep in mind is that the developers have already gone through the features to be included with Patch 2.1.0. Any other features or ideas put forth by the community will most likely be added in the future patches.
Whilst some minor issues like game balancing or rewards may be addressed in subsequent smaller patches such as 2.1.1, major features will most certainly make it to the game with major content updates.
An hour-long video above discusses Seasons, Greater Rifts, Legendary Gems, and a limited Gold Find bonus which will be available to all characters (only on the PC version) this weekend.
As for the much anticipated release window, there was nothing new on it other than the already known ‘by the end of the month’ – which hopefully means in a week or so.
In related Diablo 3 Patch 2.1.0 news, Blizzard has confirmed that it will also bring The Vault of the Goblins which will allow players to enter a portal after killing the loot goblin and get their hands on piles of gold, treasure chests, and legendary gems.
