Earlier this month, LittleBigPlanet 3 community manager Stevenl announced a private beta for a small number of hand-picked people. And now, it seems like Sumo Digital and SCE have started sending out the closed beta invites to people.
NeoGaf user TalonJH and DryvBy have shared a couple of images to prove its legitimacy. According to these images, a single beta code can be used on both PS3 and PS4 and the size of beta is around 9GB – on the PS4. Furthermore, the beta will grant players the access to the game’s new create mode.
Here’s an excerpt of the email sent to the few chosen ones:
Your creative talents have been recognized within the LittleBigPlanet community and you have been cordially invited to join the LittleBigPlanet3 Private Beta Test!
If you would like to participate in this exciting opportunity to get an early hands-on with LittleBigPlanet 3’s brand new create mode, just head to the Playstation Store, and select Redeem Codes.
Another thing that SCE has stated is that all participants are not allowed to divulge any sort of information related to beta test outside of the designated community forum – which can be seen in the image.
Hush now! Stop reading this and check your e-mail linked with your Playstation Network ID and see if you managed to get an invitation.
Developed by Sumo Digital, LittleBigPlanet 3 is slated to launch on Nov. 18 in North America and Nov. 19 in Europe exclusively for PS3 and PS4.
