We’ve had tons of information on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, but one thing that has been itching the fans for a long time is that whether the game will make it to Nintendo Wii U or not?
Well, in a blatant statement from Sledgehammer Games’ Michael Condrey, it has been somewhat confirmed that Wii U owners are out of luck this time.
@1422644 no, no WiiU. That was an Activision decision. We are focused on XboxOne, PS4, and PC.

Now, it is clear that along with Wii U, Condrey also didn’t mention Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. And although the game is indeed coming on these two platforms, it is not being developed by Sledgehammer Games, but High Moon Studios. Does this mean that Wii U version is being made by another studio or Activision is doing away with it? All we can do is speculate until an official word from Activision.
However, judging from what Condrey stated, it may very well mean that Wii U owners won’t see Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
Earlier this month, we reported that while checking the Source Code of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare official website, we found four instances of Wii U which sort of hinted that the game may be on its way to Wii U, but again, this tweet says otherwise.
Also, do note that both Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Call of Duty: Ghosts are available on Wii U.
