Tai Yasue, Co-Director of Kingdom Hearts 3, has spoken out about how he would incorporate Frozen into the game, if they were going to do it that is.
Speaking with Spanish gaming site Meristation, Yasue said that if they were going to go ahead with Frozen, then they would do something similar to the snow mountains in The Land of Dragons (the KHII region based on the 1998 Disney film Mulan). The team would also add musical elements to the world, similar to what they did with Atlantica for The Little Mermaid.
The Co-Director also expressed his wishes on what other properties he would love to add to the Kingdom Hearts games. The list included Star Wars, Marvel, and Pixar. He then went on to speak about adding old Disney properties as well, just like they did with Timeless River for Kingdom Hearts 2.
Timeless River featured both class and new version of Disney characters. The world had the old versions of Mickey Mouse and Pete, as well as long forgotten characters like Clarabelle Cow, Clara Cluck and Horace Horsecollar.
It’s possible that Kingdom Hearts 3 will feature plenty of unlikely cameos and worlds to cater for unexpected properties.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is scheduled for release for the PS4 and Xbox One on an unspecified date.
