There are two things on which almost every gamer will agree, a soundtrack is really important to a game. A bad soundtrack can totally kill the mood of a specific mission while a great soundtrack can even make the blandest of games enjoyable. The other thing would be that Japan (or Nintendo) gets a lot of cool stuff.
Sega’s very own label, Wavemaster recently announced that they will be releasing the soundtrack of Sega’s upcoming title, Bayonetta 2 separately on disc.
In fact discs! Yes that’s right, the fan service filled hack and slash will be getting a separate soundtrack release that spans 5 discs!
Bayonetta 2 Original Soundtrack will be released on 29th October at a price of 5143 yen. While the track listing is still unknown, it will contain all the music from the game created by Platinum Games veteran Masami Ueda known for his work on various franchises like Resident Evil and Devil May Cry.
While the soundtrack is pretty expensive (around $50) hardcore Ueda fans will most probably be purchasing it the first chance they get given how amazing his previous works on Bayonetta and Okami have been.
It’s still unknown whether the soundtrack will be releasing for the West or not.
Bayonetta 2 is set to be released in Japan in September while the American and European release is sometime in October.
