The newly revealed title of PlayStation 4, Silent Hills has been getting a lot of attention due to its incredibly horrifying teaser, and today during an Q and A with WhatifGaming, Kojima stated that the upcoming horror title is not likely to see the light of day before 2016.
The game will not be out more than likely until 2016.
During the same Q and A, it was revealed that the development is in early stages, and developers are looking to have sections in the game that will feature both first person and third-person gameplay.
Development is cycling between either allowing players to choose to play the whole game in first person or third person, or keeping it fixed third person and having some areas be first person only. Either way we want to do something with first person.
Furthermore, when asked about whether the game will be linear or open world, Kojima gave quite an interesting reply which indicates that the game will be set in an open world.
All I can say is Fox Engine is meant for open world. I cannot discuss more on the game design itself in detail yet.
So, there you have it, bunch of new information on the upcoming Silent Hills is revealed during this Q&A and the players who have played the teaser will surely be looking forward to 2016 to play the full title.
