Minecraft is coming to Sony’s PlayStation Vita but how will this seemingly complex title handle on a handheld console? Well Sony has the answer to that in a recent trailer released for the Vita Edition of the popular ‘block’ sandbox game.
As you can see from the trailer, the game doesn’t seem to be toned down at all and actually looks pretty good.
There is still no fixed date for the release of PS4, Xbox One and Vita version of Minecraft but it’s expected to be somewhere around end of August.
While bug fixes for the Xbox One and Vita version are still being carried out, the PS4 version is all fixed and ready according to Minecraft’s console developers, 4J Studios’ official Twitter.

Minecraft on Vita will be a Cross-Buy title with the game’s PS3 version. You can then upgrade to the PS4 edition for a small fee. The same upgrade option will also be available for those wishing to move from the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One version.
People had been worried about the future of PlayStation Vita, given how there was little to no mention of upcoming titles for the handheld during E3 or GamesCom.
PS Vita, which can even be used as a controller or a secondary screen for PS4 also lost one of its exclusives, Tearaway during GamesCom when Sony announced the game would be making its way to PS4. I guess after seeing this trailer, Sony fans as well as Minecraft ones can see some kind of hope.
