Update: Hideo Kojima has confirmed Metal Gear Solid V for PC. Steam Page is up!
Well isn’t this just awesome? PC gamers have been waiting for something like this to happen, begging Hideo Kojima and well it seems that the MGS god Kojima has listened to their pleas.
If this info, leaked just an hour prior to Konami’s special presentation at GamesCom 2014 is to be believed, Metal Gear Solid V might be coming to PC after all.
The leaked image suggests a surprise announcement at the presentation, announcing the release of Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain both on PC, through Steam. The accident occurred through Konami’s European website; well some eager employee must have jumped the gun early.
While that poor guy might be fearing for his job, PC gamers seem to be rejoicing since it has been ages since they were treated to a Metal Gear game on PC. So far there have been only 3 games on PC set in the Metal Gear universe, the original two titles as well as this year’s Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
Please do keep in mind that since there has been no official announcement as of yet, it could be fake or a joke from Kojima himself (frankly I wouldn’t put it past him given the recent reveal of P.T which turned out to be Silent Hill).
