With a plethora of preparation images and teasers on Twitter, Sledgehammer Games seems all set to reveal Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare multiplayer at Gamescom Cologne. With only a few hours to go by, the internet has witnessed a massive leak solely dedicated to the game’s multiplayer mode.

The man behind the leak, Tapawski admits that he doesn’t contain any images, videos, or written documents to prove his point, but seems pretty confident; asking people to check back once the reveal is completed. As for the information itself, some of it is plain common sense, while some is quite interesting stuff, given that it turns out to be true.
Considering everything, I’d ask you to take this with a grain of salt until the official reveal which is about six hours away. For the convenience, I’ve broken down each thing into categories which can be found below:
Now we already know that Exo-Skeletons are a big part of the game, both in single-player and multiplayer and these suits will have their own upgrades and abilities, but according to the leak, players will be able to customize almost everything related to their Exo-Skeletons.
Furthermore, Exo-Skeleton will come in different categories, all of which will have Double Jump and Dashing abilities, by default. Both Double Jump and Dashing can be done infinite times, with a slight delay when using Dashing ability. Another thing related to Dashing is that players can dash backwards and sideways, but not forward – when they are on ground.
Of course, we have already seen all this in the five seconds teaser that went live the other day.
Another thing that we came to know through this leak is that using Exo-Skeleton abilities reveal your position on enemy’s radar, much like the gunfire. However, players can use a ‘Special Perk’ to remove the sounds and stay off the enemy’s radar.
Players can also render Exo-Skeleton abilities of other players useless by tossing an EMP at them; something we have already seen in Call of Duty: Black Ops II single-players campaign where you could remove a player’s cloak using EMP. Seems fitting that it will be this way so as to balance out the game.
The leak in discussion also claims that players will also be able to battle it out in ‘Classic Playlist’ which will feature everything except Exo-Skeletons.
Creating a Class & Scorestreaks
Create-a-Class will now have 13 points instead of 10 with Scorestreak being included in those 13 points. Yes, although it is not confirmed whether the game will feature Scorestreaks or Killstreaks, the leak confidently suggests that it will be Scorestreaks.
It means that, players will be able to sacrifice their 1-2 Scorestreaks to spend those points in something else. If you closely look at the multiplayer teaser below, you will see that the player only have two Scorestreaks which kinds of proves this point.
In addition to this, Wild Cards from Call of Duty: Black Ops II will be returning to the franchise, giving players more freedom to create their classes.
Another thing about the Scorestreaks is that they will be upgradeable. For instance, players will be able to upgrade UAV to transform it into an Orbital VSAT or Blackbird. Those of you who have played Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will remember that consecutively calling in three UAVs (from different players) transformed it into kind of an Orbital VSAT, so again it will make sense if they are trying to do it.
The most controversial feature of the game, Quickscoping will not be a part of the game. To compensate this, all Sniper Rifles will be a one-shot to anywhere on the body. As for the attachments, all attachments will be available from the very beginning of the game – one feature that doesn’t make sense.
As for perks like Stalker, Steady Aim, and Sleight of Hand, they will make it to the game in the shape of weapon attachments like in Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
There you have it folks, what do you think of this leak? Does it seem legit to you? Check out this link for the original post.
