Since the announcement of Tekken 7, people have been wondering about Tekken X Street Fighter title which was scheduled to arrive after Capcom’s Street Fighter X Tekken, but due to lack of information provided on the game, people were led to believe that it might have been canned by Bandai Namco.

However, at San Diego Comic Con, Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada clarified that the Tekken X Street Fighter is still in development and is not cancelled, “so please relax.”

Both Tekken X Street Fighter and Street Fighter X Tekken were revealed back in 2010, and both games were said to include rosters that will consist of characters from both franchises.

Tekken X Street Fighter will be full 3D fighting game just like previous entries in the Tekken franchise and will utilize the same fighting game engine as before.

On the other hand, Tekken 7 is being developed with the help of Unreal Engine 4, which is quite interesting as it opens all sorts of possibilities for the developers.

Not only will they be able to deliver amazing visuals to the players, but utilizing this engine will also allow them to create a PC version of the game, which is highly demanded from the fans.

So far, there is not a lot of information available on either Tekken 7 or Tekken X Street Fighter, but we are sure that Harada will spill the beans on the upcoming titles very soon.
