Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric and Shattered Crystal NA Release Dates Confirmed

Good news for Sonic fans! The world’s most famous hedgehog is coming back to you in November! Sega has announced the release dates for the two upcoming titles, Sonic Boom Shattered Glass and Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric.

Through a surprise tweet on the official profile of Sonic the Hedgehog, the developers announced first that Sonic Boom Shattered Crystal is going to be available in North America on November 11. It was followed by another tweet later that announced the release date of Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric as well, it is November 18.

From the information shared by Sega in the past, we know that these two titles are going to be quite different from each other and will involve a very different play style. Apart from being released on a separate platform, each of the games are also expected to have a different storyline.

As far as Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric is concerned, the game is going to be an action adventure title where Lyric is the name of the villain whom Sonic the Hedgehog is going to face. He is a snake like being from the ancient times. The game is going to bring you four character options to choose from but when only two players will be able to join the game for local play.

Moving on to Sonic Boom Shattered Crystal, in contrast to Rise of Lyric, it is an action platformer that stays loyal to the classic sonic games in terms of gameplay. The game is going to introduce a new character called Sticks and will bring in plenty of boss battles, races as well as a range of collectibles.
