Druckmann Teasing The Last of Us Movie Announcement at Comic Con 2014

Did you know that the Uncharted Movie also received an official release date? Yes, its June 10, 2016 but this tells us that the movies based on games that we have been waiting for are really taking physical form now. Another one in that line is The Last of Us Movie and it might be getting something worth our while at Comic Con 2014.

What actually happened was that the game’s writer and creative director Neil Druckmann of Naughty Dog decided to tease a bit with something that surely looks like a movie screenshot.

He posted an image on his official Twitter account four hours ago with just two words that were enough to warrant something juicy: “Tomorrow ComicCon.”

The image, as you can see from the embedded tweet below, doesn’t give away anything but it could be an obscured character; most probably Ellie. Could he be hinting towards a teaser video for The Last of Us Movie at the Comic Con in San Diego?

We don’t know about the cast of the movie yet and so it is still a question as to who will be playing the character of Ellie, we might just find that out tomorrow! However, let’s not start relying so heavily on expectation and let’s wait for the time to come. It is only 24 hours after all.

That being said, we already know that The Last of Us Movie is based on the story of the game, would you have preferred it some other way or not? Share your opinions below!
