Ubisoft Teases Modes of Transport in Far Cry 4
The official Ubisoft Facebook page has just uploaded a collage of images that tease the ways through which players will be covering ground in Far Cry 4.
The first one signifies ‘riding’ and showcases a magnificent elephant in front of what looks like a small temple. The second signifies plain ‘walking’ and depicts a player locking down an area beneath with his sniper rifle. The third simply shows a top-down blurry view of an area, reminding us that similar to the last game, Far Cry 4 will also allow players to soar through the skies in a wingsuit. The final image showcases a one-seater gyrocopter, which according to Ubisoft we’ll be able to fly.
“Ride elephants, fly gyrocopters, soar in a wingsuit or move on foot…The choice is yours! #Farcry4” reads the caption of the image.
The fourth installment in the Far Cry series is set in the country of Kyrat, a region in the Himalayas of Nepal. The game follows Ajay Ghale, a Nepali native who heads back to scatter his mother’s ashes but unfortunately becomes caught up in a civil war. In contrast to the psychotic loony for a villain that we had in Far Cry 3, the latest installment will feature a much composed charismatic antagonist called Pagan Min, a self-appointed king in the region of Kyrat.
Far Cry 4 is scheduled for release on November 18 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
