Destiny Beta Level Cap is Eight, It was Same in Alpha

It doesn’t happen too often that the fans get disappointed in something that Bungie has done with Destiny – and that is saying a lot! However, the Destiny Beta might have one little thing that some of you would rather not like.

It has been revealed recently that the Destiny Beta Level Cap is going to be the same as it used to be when you guys were playing the game’s alpha build. When the game’s alpha was released, nobody was allowed to progress past level eight despite the tough grinding they got while testing the game. It is the same with the beta version.

So yes, you will be stuck at the same level you were in the alpha phase until the full game is released in September. Until then, what’s going to happen is that when you hit the level cap, the progress bar will lose the level count. It should be present on the right side of the bar until you are below level eight.

Check it out in the image shared above.

Although the people who are playing the game for the first time wouldn’t mind it, those who have clocked in a lot of hours for the alpha are going to be a little pissed about this. However, you are going to be allowed to upgrade your weapons to get more vicious whenever that is possible. So yeah there still is a lot that you can do in the game.

Destiny Beta is now live for PlayStation 4 users.
