There’s some new content coming to Ace Combat Infinity. Publisher Bandai Namco will hold a special event this weekend for the game as well.

From July 18 to July 21, players can sign in to participate in Team Deathmatch bouts that yield some exclusive goods, such as Emblems and Nicknames. Moreover, it’s possible to win credits and progression boosts, called Research Reports.

Players are bound to certain models in order to join the fight. We’ll place the list of eligible Team Deathmatch aircrafts below:

  • F-4E
  • F-4G
  • F-16C
  • Mig-241bis
  • AV-8B
  • Mirage 2000-5
  • Su-25TM

Monetized fuel packs for Ace Combat Infinity will receive a 20% discount during the event at either €5.99 for 10+1 or €29.99 for 50+10. Naturally, as a free-to-play title, the aerial combat title has to find a way to generate some revenue, but you should be able to play effortlessly without any payment.

Aside from the event, the singleplayer mode will receive a new mission, called Avalon. It’s a reference to an older Ace Combat title and it will see planes trying to maneuver through a ravine.

For cooperative play, Ace Combat Infinity adds a seventh mission, called Weapon Base Assault. As its title may reveal, the main goal here is to take out land forces.

Ace Combat Infinity is a Playstation 3 exclusive, which has had quite a successful run so far. During its launch period alone, more than 1 million players have signed on for the free-to-play version of the series.

Bandai Namco is planning more events for the future of the game.
