There is a Retailer Where Wii U Bundle is Outselling Xbox One

We know that Wii U hasn’t really been a heartthrob of a console but what is this that we are seeing? They are outselling a console that was supposed to be the best there is? Well okay this is not worldwide or even country wide, but knowing that the Wii U is selling more than Xbox One at a certain retailer does say that it could be the same at more than one places.

Mighty Ape Games, an online retailer in New Zealand has an active Facebook page where they pinch in the sweet and salty news about the shop when and wherever it arises. What they wrote recently must have hurt a lot of the marketing folks at Microsoft:

“Another massive Wii U console shipment just in. These babies are currently outselling the Xbox One.”

The key reason behind this is Mario Kart 8 and its overwhelming demand that is selling the console in the shape of Mario Kart Wii U Bundle. This includes a 32GB console as well as a copy of the game priced at $NZD529.99.

New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U are also being shipped in a bundle with the console for a price of $NZD449.99 and something tells me the burn in Xbox One’s sales at this specific retailer has a bit to do with that too.

In comparison, the cheapest rate at which you can buy an Xbox One in New Zealand is for $549.99 which comes with a digital copy of Forza 5 and a $20 Xbox Live voucher. And, the most expensive console in the same region is PlayStation 4 ($NZD 584) which also happens to be the best selling one.
