WWE 2K15 Won’t Allow Male Vs Female Matches

By   /   Jul 9, 2014

While older WWE titles allowed players to have battles between both male and female wrestlers, the new WWE 2K15 will not.

The reason is probably because over the years the WWE has transitioned from violence for entertainment to simply entertainment. In order to stick to its current family-friendly program, a WWE game featuring bouts between the two sexes would perhaps be crossing that little line.

Not to mention that online women rightists would have a field day if they came to know about a high-budget game that has players beating women senseless.

The WWE roster currently has an abundance of female superstars, something which previous WWE titles were lacking. In recent years the WWE Divas have been transformed into something more than just pretty objects in the background. They are now actual competitors and the new Divas Championship is something to take seriously. WWE 2K15 will be banking on all of these elements and I assume female fans would be waiting anxiously for its release.

Earlier this month, it was confirmed that rumors of a WCW Mode and the inclusion of Goldberg are simply just rumors. Some out there would be disappointed to know that WWE 2K15 won’t be instigating a war with WCW. Someone out there needs to think on a WWE vs WCW game already.

WWE 2K15 is scheduled for release on October 31 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
