How Much Hearthstone: Curse of Naxxramas Will Cost You? Blizzard Explains
Blizzard has announced the pricing details for the first single player expansion for Hearthstone: Curse of Naxxramas on Battle.net.
Curse of Naxxramas takes players on a journey across a floating necropolis with five different wings – the Arachnid Quarter, Plague Quarter, Military Quarter, Construct Quarter, and Frostwyrm Lair – to explore and battle in. According to Blizzard, these wings can be bought separately or in a bundle using real money or in-game gold.
Here’s an overview of the pricing details:
With each wing having its own boss, Curse of Naxxramas will kick off with the release of the Arachnid Quarter. Blizzard previously announced that anyone who will play the Arachnid Quarter during the launch event will get it for free.
Once the launch event – which will last for a month or so – is over, players will have to purchase it for $6.99 or 700 in-game gold. However, these details are not mentioned in the Blizzard’s blogpost.
It is worth noting that Blizzard is offering discounts to the player who will pay the real money and not in-game gold.
The studio has also announced that purchasing a bundle will not get a player an early access to future content, and each wing will be released once in a week.
Lastly, the blogpost details the Heroic Mode in Curse of Naxxramas. Defeating every boss in a specific wing will unlock Heroic Forms of those bosses which will give player a tougher challenge.
Once players have defeated the Heroic Forms of those bosses, they will be rewarded with new cards.
Blizzard has not announced a solid release date for Curse of Naxxramas, but it is reported that it will become by the end of this month across iPad, Mac, and Windows PC.
