The Division Demos From E3 2013 and 2014 Compared, Downgraded or Not?

The Division has been making headlines since its reveal at E3, couple of years ago, but after the visual downgrade that Watch Dogs faced after its release, people have been worried that same thing might happen to upcoming MMO as well.

However, fear not as one of the YouTube users, who goes by the name of ‘luckySkillFaker’ has released a new video, which shows side by side comparison of both E3 demos that we have seen so far and there isn’t a lot of difference.

As you can from the video comparison, both demos look quite detailed in terms of graphics and Massive in an interview has also clarified that there will no compromise on RPG gameplay mechanics and visuals of The Division.

No, no. I hope not. That’s what we’re trying to make sure doesn’t happen.

I think making sure you focus on the content as well as just how it looks is really, really important. So, I mean… I know one of the big taglines for us is it’s a third person shooter but we actually think of it as a RPG.

The Division is set in New York City, which is in ruins after a virus broke out and took almost all the population with it. Few people that survived are now at each other’s throat as now it is the survival of the fittest.

The game is powered by newly made engine called Snow Drop and its power can be seen in the demos and trailers that have been shown thus far.

The Division is set to launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in late 2015.
