Halo Nightfall has Finished Shooting in Iceland

One of the producers on Halo Nightfall has revealed that shooting on the digital series has brought the team to Iceland due to its incredible beauty.


One of the producers on the upcoming Halo Nightfall digital series “Kiki Kill Wolf” has revealed that shooting of the series in Iceland has been completed.

Wolf explains the reasons behind choosing Iceland as the main location:

First and foremost, we wanted to find a place that was remote and exotic but nonetheless unimaginable beautiful. Iceland has been used in projects of this type increasingly over the past decade and we see clearly why. Iceland has good infrastructure and technical people, but first and foremost an almost infinite reaches gold beautiful scenery.

Wolf continues on to mention that the series will be based on the story of Halo, which will provide a satisfying experience to the series’ veterans as well as, new comers.

This series is being worked on in the supervision of Ridley Scott and directed by Sergio Mimica-Gezzan, who is famous for his work on Under the Dome and Heroes.

Halo Nightfall the digital series will not release in theaters, instead it will be included in the upcoming Halo: The Master Chief Collection and will provide details on the story of new spartan that has been put on the cover of Halo 5: Guardians.

In addition to Halo Nightfall, a Halo TV series is also in development, that is being worked on by Steven Spielberg and first season of this new show might begin next year.

Halo The Master Chief Collection is scheduled to arrive on 17th of November and will include Halo: CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 4, Halo Nightfall and the beta key for Halo 5: Guardians, which will begin on 27th of December.
