Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn “Defenders Of Eorzea” Gets a Trailer Ahead of its Release
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is going to receive a new major patch update 2.3 on 8th of July in a couple of weeks entitled “Defenders of Eorzea.”
However, to keep the fans excited, Square Enix has released a new trailer for this update, which will bring a lot of new changes to the game including new main quests, new dungeons and the option to invite players into an open world PvP.
Furthermore, it will include new battle zones that will include Borderland Ruins of Carteneau Flats and some quests that will be very similar to The Hunt.

When the world is thrown into chaos, who will rise to defend those too weak to defend themselves?
The Sahagin summoned Leviathan, Lord of the Whorl, that the unbridled fury of the sea would wash away those who would threaten their livelihood. Eorzea’s people turned to the Warriors of Light, who drove this sinister serpent back into the briny deep.
Now, new voices can be heard. From the deserts of Thanalan, to the verdant woods of the Black Shroud, to the snowy peaks of Coerthas, these voices cry out for a champion.
In addition to aforementioned stuff, this update will also add a fan favorite summon “Ramuh.” Also, the story missions of 2.3 update will give some insights on Shiva, which will be a part of update 2.4.
With number of new additions coming to Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, this new patch just can’t come soon enough.
