Exo-Suits Will Make It To Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Multiplayer Mode

By   /   Jun 16, 2014

Exo-suits will affect players’ movement and will sure as shooting play a part in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. This is a brief summary of a call that popular YouTube commentator Drift0r received from the game’s Co-Founder, Michael Condrey.

Since Drift0r couldn’t record his phone call, he has tried to paraphrase Michael Condrey’s part of conversation.

Speaking of the Exo-Suits, Condrey stated that the developing team spent a good deal of time on Exo-Suits and building the game around it. However, he didn’t share any details on how it will work:

We spent a ton of time designing them and building our game around them. Not yet ready to say exactly how they will be in multiplayer though but we didn’t spend all that design time just for the campaign.

Continuing, Condrey stated that they are making the game so that it feels familiar (Considering the movement), but a little more fast-paced.

We wanted to make [movement] feel familiar to other CoD games but also added a few changes. We wanted to make a really fast paced CoD game.

Speaking about some of the gadgets – LASER Guns, Modular Grenades, and Ballistic Shields – which we saw at the E3 reveal, Condrey said that they are not ready to divulge which gadgets will make it to the multiplayer mode, but it is getting a lot of attention.

That’s why we are working hard right now to make sure everything is balanced before launch.

Striving to make this a perfectly balanced and enjoyable experience, most of the guys working on the game are either former or current Call of Duty players who have played the game through the few last cycles.

Most of MP Dev team is former or current CoD players, some eSports guys. They played through the last few cycles. We take community and eSports feedback very seriously. The game is made for you to enjoy.
