Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Possibly The Last Entry In The Franchise, Says Nolan North

If the name has anything to suggest, Naughty Dog’s upcoming Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End could very possibly be the last title in the illustrious franchise.

Nolan North, the voice of Drake and over a dozen other characters under Naughty Dog’s umbrella, has said that he believes the speculation to be true. The actor feels bittersweet about it but is also hoping that the franchise goes to sleep while it’s still on top.

North also revealed that he hopes no one else decides on making another Uncharted game once, Naughty Dog is done with it. The team has been working on the series for so long that North doesn’t see anyone else try to fill the shoes.

Earlier this week Sony concluded its E3 2014 press conference by showing a debut teaser for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

The scene showed Drake washed up on the beach of what looks like an uncharted island where he, according to the narrative, has to use his skills to find some mysterious item.

The trailer looked sweet and Drake has never looked better. Sony though revealed later that the scene was in-engine and not in-game. However, Naughty Dog has earned our faith and the final in-game comparison will probably not be far off from what we’ve already seen.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is coming to PlayStation 4 next year. We only hope it could had been this Holiday season instead of the next.
