Big Finish Games has announced that Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure is being developed for Oculus Rift and will release sometime in near future.

The game was made in a first person perspective so it will be very interesting to see how developers go about the title, while making it for VR device.

The video above shows development staff working on the first version of Oculus Rift development kit.

Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure is the sixth installment in Tex Murphy adventure games series  and begins in 2050, after Tex and his love interest Chelsee Bando got attacked in Tex Murphy: Overseer.

At the start of the game, Tex Murphy wakes up in a hotel room with some strange markings of violence but has no idea of what happened to him in last seven years.

The game allows you to explore the 3D environments of the world alongside solving puzzles, as you search for clues and interact with multiple items to get a sense of what exactly is going on.

In addition to VR tech port, Big Finish Games announced that Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure will be available on discount starting today on GOG.com, while the steam users will have to wait a bit, as they will be getting this title for cheap on 20th of June.
