We have picked up word just now that the upcoming action hack and slash by Platinum Games, Bayonetta 2 is not just a simple single player. Instead, it will also feature a two player online co-op play as well.

The news has apparently come out Nintendo Press Pack which a NeoGAF user has quoted in the following lines:

“In online quick matches, you can wager halos, the in-game currency that you earn by defeating enemies. You receive a large sum back if you can prove you’re a better fighter than your partner. Halos can then be traded in a story mode shop to unlock new techniques, buy accessories and pick up alternate weapon variations.”

If Bayonetta 2 has the two player online co-op, it will surely add a new touch to the gameplay.

Back at E3 yesterday a new gameplay trailer was shown where you could see our protagonist lady taking on enemies that define the word huge. The game looks pretty charged up and sexy at the same time. Though i would tag the latter with the appearance of Bayonetta herself.

From the looks of it, the gameplay footage is depicting a time when Bayonetta is on the course to rescue Jeanne from the depths of hell. You my check it out here.

If you have already watched the E3 gameplay trailer, you would know how interesting it would make the game if there is going to be a two player online co-op mode in the game. Drop your opinions below.
