Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Wii U Announcement Coming at E3 2014?

By   /   Jun 2, 2014

Although the most ‘advanced’ title in the series, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is slated for a release to all other major platforms, no official word has been received about the Wii U version. This might just change at E3 2014.

What actually happened is that the official E3 Insider website has apparently let slip something that might have been kept as a surprise.

Among the exhibitor details for Activison, there lies the term Wii U among the platforms for which the game is being developed. Check out the image below:

This is not the first time that a hint has been received about a version of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for the Wii U. Previously, a Wii U logo was found in the source code of the official website of the game.

No one from the official spokespersons said anything to confirm it though.

Moreover, the market situation at the time of Call of Duty: Ghosts and now are quite different. More people own Nintendo’s latest console than there were at the time of Ghosts’ development and release. So I wouldn’t be surprised if they are actually making it.

As far as the announcement is concerned, in light of the recent evidence we can speculate that the developers are probably going to make it official at their E3 2014 presentation.

What is your opinion? Do you think the E3 2014 will have an announcement regarding the Wii U version of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare? More importantly, do you think that Wii U can handle something like that?
