The official Instagram group of Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor has posted over a dozen clips that show off the complex facial animations of the various Orcs you’ll come across in the game.
Developer Monolith might have come under fire during the game’s initial reveal of having borrowed previous Assassin’s Creed assets. The Orcs however, show the good amount of work put in by the animators and modellers.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor is designed to focus wholly on the single-player experience and will be shipped without any multiplayer mode. Monolith is pretty confident in their decision and feel that the content provided will be enough to satisfy even the most hungry of RPG fans.
The events of the game take place between that of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Having come in to power, Sauron and his army wreak havoc on the lands. In the process our lead character, Talon, loses everything, even his own life. A mysterious wraith though resurrects Talon and also bestows upon him various powers. With his new found abilities, he now ventures forward to settle his score with those responsible for his fate.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor is scheduled for release on October 7 on the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
