The first major content update for The Elder Scrolls Online (Craglorn 1.1.2) is now available and it not only brings in a plethora of fixes, but also an ‘expansive adventure zone’ and 12-man trials.
The new adventure zone is available to all players, but ZeniMax Online asserts that it is specifically designed for Veteran Ranked players to test their true mettle.
As for the 12-man trial, it is meant for 12 players with limited number of resurrections (before they could reach the final boss) at their disposal and promises leaderboards rankings and additional rewards.
12-player adventures meant to test even the strongest heroes. In Trials, your team will have a limited number of resurrections to use as you attempt to reach the final boss. If you finish the Trial quickly, you might earn a place on the leaderboards and receive extra rewards!
Another novel featured is dubbed as Death Recap. What this does is that it will tell you what contributed to your death and share tutorials to improve your gameplay style.
Along with Craglorn, the update addresses a number of issues based on players’ feedback. Suffice to say that almost every aspect of the game has been tweaked in one way or another.
The official patch notes which can be read at The Elder Scrolls Online weblog are more like a cyclopedia which is a good day’s read.
In related news, Bethesda has affirmed that Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions of TESO have been delayed for six months. And although the publisher is targeting a release window within this year, there might be some more delays lined up.
