If former Valve employee and co-creator of Counter Strike Minh ‘Gooseman’ Le is to be believed, Half-Life 3 is ‘being worked on’ and Left 4 Dead 3 ‘is looking great’.
In an interview (which can be seen above) with goRGNtv, Le stated that neither of the games are dead and it is public knowledge that they are being worked on.
Although he could not divulge any details, he sure sounded pretty confident.
And so if I were to say that yeah, I’ve seen some images, like some concept art of it, that wouldn’t be big news to be honest.
Later on, he mentioned that he did come across certain images/concept art which looked like from Half-Life universe.
But yeah, I mean like I guess I could say that I did see something that looked kinda like in the Half-Life universe. And I mean it wouldn’t surprise anyone if I said they’re doing it, they’re working on it, yeah. So to go on a limb I’d say I did see some concept art for Half-Life 3.
The surprise does not end here! While speaking about Left 4 Dead 3, Le shared his excitement and stated that the game look does look quite beautiful.
I saw it, it looks great. I was really excited when I saw that, I was like ‘wow, this looks great’.
To him, Left 4 Dead changed the industry by bringing in perfect co-op experience which was not present at the time of its release.
There you go guys! It’s finally happening. On a side note, what would you like to see in upcoming Half-Life and Left 4 Dead? Let us know in the comments below!
