Update: Seems the video has been taken down by the hackers from Ubisoft.
The opening sequence of upcoming open-world title Watch Dogs has been leaked. It doesn’t show a whole lot of gameplay but if you can’t wait to get your hands on the game, then do check it out.
Watch Dogs was first unveiled at Ubisoft’s E3 conference in 2012 and since then it has gathered a huge fan following. Thankfully, just a few days left until you can finally get your hands on the highly anticipated title from Ubisoft.
The game is set in an open world environment of Chicago City, where the protagonist Aiden Pearce is going against “CtOS” to avenge the death of his loved one.
Watch Dogs relies heavily on the hacking mechanic that is done with help of Aiden’s smartphone, which is armed with a number of very powerful applications.
The game is played in a third person perspective, including some elements of stealth and Parkour.
Moreover, the game features a very unique multiplayer mode in which a player can jump into another player’s game disguised as a civilian and attempt to install a back door virus on to their smartphone while the player who is getting hacked is tasked to find the hacker before virus is installed.
Watch Dogs hit shelves coming Tuesday for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC while the Wii U version will arrive sometime this fall.
