4J Shares Minecraft Images on PS4 & Xbox One, Release Expected in Q2 or Q3

After gaining a huge popularity on last-gen consoles, Minecraft will make its way to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 by the end of this year.

Meanwhile, 4J Studios has released the first image of both the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game via its twitter page:

In addition to these tweets, the developer also mentioned that they are trying to increase the size of world up to 36 times of the area of PS3 and Xbox 360.

Previously, the developer confirmed that they cannot build an infinite world on the consoles due to their limitations. However, the Xbox 360/PS3 world is pretty large and if 4J manages to give us a world that is 36 times larger than that, it will be more than enough.

In response to a question that inquired about the release date of the game on next-gen, the studio responded with the Q2 or Q3 release, which was expected.

Furthermore, Minecraft on next-gen will feature transferable saves, which means that if you are playing the game on your PS3 or Xbox 360 then you will be able to continue your game on next-gen, right where you left off.

Are you ready to explore the universe of Minecraft on your Xbox One and PlayStation 4?
