New alpha gameplay footage of Warlords of Draenor has been released which shows one of the new starting zones in the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion.
The video shows a tauren monk playing through the icy tundras of Frostfire Ridge which serves as a new starting area for Horde characters in Draenor. Alliance players on the other hand will be starting in Shadowmoon Valley.
The zone is located in north-western Draenor and its home to the Frostwolf clan and the Thunderlord clan. The Horde capital, Bladespire Citadel is located here as well.
Frostfire Ridge also contains Bloodmaul Slag Mines, a 5 man dungeon for level 90-92 players.
Video also shows some UI changes like the map for better navigation as well as constant attempts by the residents of Draenor to take back their lands which they feel we invaded upon.
Quest tracker has also seen an overhaul and seems to be much easier to move or hide.
Warlords of Draenor is the fifth expansion to Blizzard’s highly successful MMO World of Warcraft. The game takes place in an alternate timeline which was created after the events of Mists of Pandaria. It is set to release sometime in Fall 2014.
