Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been added to Steam and can now be pre-ordered, though there are no pre-order bonuses announced for the Steam version as of yet. Given the scope of the game, it’s only a matter of time until Sledgehammer Games announces/adds pre-order bonuses.
The game is priced at $59.99, which was expected, but the steam page doesn’t list the PC specifications needed to play the game, which are usually released when the game’s launch nears, for now it only lists Windows 7/8 64-bit both and DirectX 11 in the System Requirements section.
Even though the game boasts improved visuals, one can assume that its minimum PC requirements will be somewhat similar to Call of Duty Ghosts’ PC requirements. Call of Duty Advanced Warfare is the first Call of Duty title fully developed by Sledgehammer Games, who worked on the Multiplayer mode of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.
Advanced Warfare takes place in the year 2054 when the Private Military Companies have gained more military power than the world’s governments. You play as Mitchell who works in Iron’s PMC The Atlas Corporation as he turns against the world’s governments in his bid to take over the world.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is set to release on November 4th 2014 on the PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
