A superhero is not just defined by his costumes or his crime fighting, one of the key elements that make a superhero interesting is the villains he is pitted against. With the closing chapter of the Arkham series, Rocksteady and Warner Bros. have to be really careful about the villains they match up against the Dark Knight.
From the details that have emerged so far about the final game of the franchise, which include a trailer, some screenshots and the IMDB page of the game we can guess which characters will be making their appearances in the game.
Not all these are confirmed however, but if players sit down to analyze the loose ends left from Arkham City, we can make a pretty good guess about their presence.
Kevin Conroy will be reprising his role as the legendary Dark Knight and Harley Quinn voiced by Tara Strong will of course return as evident by the trailer and the casting page from IMDB. James Horan, who voiced Jack Ryder in Arkham City, would be returning this time to voice Arkham Knight, a character newly created for the game.
Other returning characters include The Penguin, Two-Face, Deadshot, The Riddler, James and Barbara Gordon. Ra’s Al Ghul and Joker however seem to be out of the picture for good. Instead, Troy Baker who voiced Joker in Arkham Origins would be lending his talents for Two-Face this time.
There is no fixed release date for Batman: Arkham Knight, however it’s expected to launch somewhere around October and the game will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC only.
