There is no question about the popularity of the Pokémon franchise, thousands of players have spent their childhood with the game and still, the series is doing great for itself.
Now, McDonalds has announced that they will be offering Pokémon X and Y popular toys and this new scheme will start from the United States next month. The announcement was made via the Happy Meal website of the fast food restaurant.
The featured Pokémon toys at McDonalds include Venusaur, Blastoise, Charizard, Chespin, Froakie, Fennekin and more. Every single toy will be completely compatible with McPlay Power App from McDonalds where it will help you download some mini-games.
However, the U.K. based consumers will not be getting this offer as far as we know, so they will have to keep on getting the Super Mario toys, which started in the country last month.
It is good to see McDonalds making an effort to have separate toys for guys with the Happy Meal. It all started earlier this year in February when Mcdonalds started offering the Lego movie toys alongside the movie. The Pokémon X and Y toys will stay in McDonalds until 12th of June and we will see what the fast food restaurant has in store for us after that.
